Reina Internacional del Café 2011 – Meet the Contestants

The 55th Feria de Manizales will take place in  Manizales, Colombia from January 2nd to 9th, 2011. One of the main traditions of this fair, is the popular “Reina del Café” beauty pageant (Queen of Coffee), with contestants from all over the American continent and some from Europe.  This year, 23 beautiful ladies are taking place in the competition, which is always the first commented beauty event of the year.  Who will be the new queen? Meet the delegates!

Some of these delegates have experience in the beauty pageant arena. For example, Miss Bolivia (Maria Roca)  and Miss Honduras (Marilyn Medina) competed in the recently held Miss World 2010 pageant in China. Miss Costa Rica (Amalia Matamoros) competed in Miss World 2008 held in South Africa; Miss Ecuador (Verónica Ochoa) was a contestant in the Miss Earth 2007 pageant in the Philippines. Miss Dominican Republic (Sophinel Báez) competed in the Miss International 2010 contest in Chengdu, China. Miss Bahamas (Tempestt Stubbs) was also in China, during the Miss Friendship International pageant.
