24-year old Shamcey Supsup was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2011 during the annual show held at the Araneta Coliseum on April 10th.

Shamcey, one of the biggest favorites of the night, comes from Iligan City, and stands 1.72 m tall. She will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in September. She is also a Magna Cum Laude graduate from the UP college of Architecture.
Crowned as Bb. Pilipinas International 18-year old Diane Elaine Necio. She stands 1.68 m tall and will travel to China in October for the Miss International 2011 pageant. Diane comes from Albay, and had competed in the Bb. Pilipinas 2010 pageant, where she was the first runner-up.
Crowned Bb. Pilipinas Tourism is 23-year old Isabella Manjon, from Manila. She stands 1.70 m tall. It was not specified the Tourism pageant where she will compete.
The runner-ups were Mary Jean Lastimosa and Janine Tugonon.
Among the hosts of the pageant were Derek Ramsay, KC Concepcion, and former Binibinis Miriam Quiambao and Precious Lara Quigaman. Miss Universe 1973 Margie Moran was among the judges who voted for Supsup.
We believe that Shamcey Supsup will indeed follow the excellent showing of Maria Venus Raj in Miss Universe 2010 (4th runner-up).

Im kind of disappointed with the result, after the q&a Supsup was out of the radar. Its Tugonon, Marasigan, even Luzelle and Gubat who made a splash…. it just shows that maybe the winners are already pre-selected….Supsup is pretty but she’s kinda hyped up and I dont see her catching attention in MU2011.
I wish either Tugonon or Manjon won….

congrats to all the winners! shamcy was indeed a croud favorite and she did very well during the Q&A portion. im also in favor of Laztimosa but she came up as 2nd RU.. i guess it would be better if she will compete in the Miss International rather than Diane Necio.. Necio was well-preprared for this pageant but for me, her answer was so “safe”// anyways congrats guys and MABUHAY KAU!

Based in the pageant coronation, i love supsup something i found a vibe of her that is unique beauty queen and yet there is time to transform her to be more confident, well prepared and become well catwalks and beautiful inside and out..I like Supsup her aura and her body is okay and smart also..I like Manjon shes perfect to win a crown she has a quality to qualify big hits of crowns..That time it really shines that this Dianne Necio really goddess of era 2011 asian barbie doll i was amazed with her beauty…I love also felipe she looks beautiful and elegant with her gown and also Gubat so oriental..The best 4 are deserving i was not like Tugunon but she is trying her best her q and a kneel down to put her 1st runner up.

Congrats! Phillipines for choosing another great candidate for Miss Universe. Shamcey was one if not my top favourite this year. Someone summed it really well earlier that she is not only beautiful & smart but thoughtout the competition she exuded a lot of charisma!. My other favourites Luzelle & Sabrine I thought did really well though I felt they could have done a little better in the interviews. Nonetheless, the other 2 winners are just as beautiful & definitely deserve their titles. Well done Phillipines & best of luck to the winners!
i did it again…..two years in a row….predicted that supsup will get the universe phils crown, just like last year when i chose venus raj….after seeing supsup being chosen as binibini official candidate, her presence stood out….so whats next?????? prepare her for her competition internationally…..i think in brazil….GO SHAMCEY!!!!! Shamcey’s selection is the best among all 40 candidates. Tugonon’s answer? Kungbaga sa estudyante, bookish…not natural, pageant patty! I like Necio’s long tresses and she still has time to improve her communication skills before competing in China. Her answer is good pero walang impact. Lastimosa’s body and catwalk skills..hataw!…but the face…her mouth and teeth is a bit annoying to me…Manjon is no surprise at all.the 3rd crown belongs to her…Kaya Ok lang ang placements nila sa kin! Congrats to Bb. Pilipinas batch 11…Let us support all our delegates this year!
I don’t mean to offend anyone this is my opinion. None of the winners except Manjon will ever land as a finalist in the Universe or international pageant. They don’t have the “it” factor. There were other deserving candidates. Anyway i still wish you ladies good luck.
