Although her competition was tough, it could be said that Ivian Sarcos, Miss World Venezuela, and Miss World 2011, won the Miss Grand Slam 2011 title from tip to toe, having topped all rounds of the competition. After becoming the 6th Venezuelan woman to be crowned Miss World, in London, Ivian now becomes the second ever Miss World titleholder to win the Miss Grand Slam title. Australia/Universe took silver, and China/Universe took bronze.

Venezuelans are overrated, come on… Are we “slamming” natural beauty now?
I felt bad when Ivian Sarcos was not chosen to represent in the Miss Universe 2011 pageany when she was the most all-natural among the strong bets in their country’s pageant. I love her Cinderella-like story as she can be a global icon for it and so many children with humble beginnings will have her as inspiration. But they chose the extra-manicured one.
I salute GlobalBeauties for crowning IVIAN,the Miss World of 2011, as the Miss Grand Slam queen. Among the beauties all over, she is THE ONE with the encompassing qualities of a global goodwill ambassador – the primary duty of a beauty queen.
I hope someone will write her story into a little book for school children all over the world: “Sarcos, who currently works for a broadcasting company and has a degree in Human Resources, lost her parents at age of eight. She’s one of 13 siblings. However, Sarcos said the tragedies in her life made her a stronger person and her past “has taught me that life, although it may be bad, doesn’t have to end badly.
