After returning from Johor, the contestants embarked in the last journey of the pageant; the last week has been of intensive rehearsals to make sure everything goes smoothly in the TV show.
On Tuesday night the delegates met the panel of judges for a private interview, where the Top 15 semi finalists were chosen. The remaining days have been spent inside the rehearsal room, learning the dances and routines for the final show.
But who are the favorites? Local media in Malaysia has been favoring quite a few delegates, specially those who have won special awards. But other delegates have been widely ovationed during the public events, so it’s anybody’s game at this point. The special awards are said to have no bearing in the final result.
Also during the final, the special awards of Miss Friendship, Miss Talent and Best National Costume will be given.
Only the panel of judges knows for sure the 15 delegates they believe are the most complete to make the title. Even the contestants themselves have been making their lists.
After three weeks of a schedule full of special events, visits, touring, photo and video sessions and invitations, the pageant finally comes to an end, together with the year 2011. Do you have a favorite for the 15th Miss Tourism International title?
