Contestants visit the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan
Earlier this morning Miss World’s 116 contestants visited the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan, enjoyed local artistic presentations, mingled with locals and kids, and even had contact with camels.
The Mausoleum is a cenotaph, where the coffin contains no corpse, but only headdresses and accessories, because the actual Tomb of Genghis Khan has never been discovered. It was built between 1954 and 1956 by the government of the China in the traditional Mongol style. It is one of the main tourist attractions in the region, visited by thousands of people every year.
Now the candidates are resting and getting ready for the Miss World Sportswomen Final, scheduled to take place on Monday, August 6.

more & more tourist traps.
I have yet to see what they can do for the welfare of the ppl, and not those being forced into the tourist trade by the government in order to live.
