And MWO brought Christmas to August! Yes, the 116 delegates had a chance to relax with their family members and national directors in a night filled with music, good food and fun – the traditional Miss World Christmas and Family Dinner.
The Top 5 candidates from the Talent competition were invited to perform and did an amazing job. They are Panama, China, Philippines, Jamaica and Norway.
After that, they all hit the dance floor and showed their best moves to a variety of songs, ranging from 1970′s disco to Lady Gaga.
Some delegates, like Hong Kong and Vietnam, told jokes and got some good laughter from their crowd. Miss Colombia celebrated her 21st birthday with her 115 new friends.
The host for the night was the always great Steve Douglas.
If all the girls looked like they were having a great time, perhaps the one who seemed to be enjoying it the most was Miss United States. She was always singing, dancing, mingling with the other girls, looking like she was having the time of her life. Miss US deserves the “Miss Personality” award this year. That’s the way to go!
Tomorrow night the 116 stunners competing for the Miss World crown will have some time out to rest. The dress rehearsal will happen on Friday evening.
An exciting show ahead
The 1 billion who will be watching the finals of Miss World 2012 on August 18, will be treated to a fantastic show. The dynamics of MW 2012 will be similar to last year’s. There will be a Top 30, then a Top 15, Top 7, and the announcement of the winner and runner-ups. All 30 quarter-finalists will be seen on stage this time.
Jason Cook, who did an excellent job in 2011, returns to host the pageant.
The stage looks spectacular. Less than three days to go, and we ask you: who will be Miss World 2012? All photos property of Global Beauties
