India was kicking everyon’s butt in the competition, that is what she was doing. Reason she did not win was her lack of maturity. She looked like a miss world, and acted like a miss world from beginning to end. China? Again? I mean, ya she was pretty but I would have preferred Wales.
India wasn’t kicking anyone’s butt…most of her points were from multimedia award and beauty with a purpose…that’s it…..she doesn’t have stage presence let alone acting like a miss world…she went too far….as recent miss indias have gone in miss world lately…don’t get me wrong I have nothing against her but she went too far…there were better candidates
Rafael…..u realy need to understand the requirement for the top position in the pagent…..dnt just focus on stage presence,there are mant things beyond it….and for your information multimedia and beauty with the purpose are two main category awards and for a fact beauty with the purpose has the highest scrore i.e.100 whereas other categories are just 50..Miss India has beauty,compassion,content,personality,intelligence, A purpose and two main category awards and one of the best anwers…..If you still doubt that she didnt deserve i am sorry u need to kindly check on ur criterias n jump out of the stage presence that you keep mentioning in most of ur posts…..and yes Miss India went too far with her honesty and intelligence that probably ws beyond them and specially you to understand….you gotta take a chill pill Love…

Wow, these were some serious average looking women. I just saw China win, she looks homely. HD is not kind to everyone. Ivian Sarcos looked amazing and when she is crowning the new winner, you can see the contrast between the two of them. Not pretty. I mean not disrespect or insult, but those were some dogs!

If the sole purpose of Miss World was Beauty with Purpose then, India should have been the obvious winner. I think the scope of Miss World must be viewed with a broader sense and just just about star quality or stage presence. India actively participated and was short listed in Top Model, Beach Fashion, winner of Multimedia award and Beauty with purpose. As I remember, India is the only country to have won two preliminary rounds so far. In spite of all these credits, India should have been Miss World 2012, but we are shocked that she couldn’t make it up in top 3. Miss Mexico was good but she was too far to get into Top 7 as Brazil did it excellent from Americas.
Anyway, congrats to Winner and we are proud of Miss India.
