Miss World Organization released a video with highlights of the spectacular Opening Ceremony held at Ordos Dongsheng Stadium on July 24th, with the participation of this year’s contestants.
Earlier this morning Miss World’s 116 contestants visited the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan, enjoyed local artistic presentations, mingled with locals and kids, and even had contact with camels. The Mausoleum is a cenotaph, where the coffin contains no corpse, but only headdresses and accessories, because the actual Tomb of Genghis Khan has never been discovered.
